A huge congratulations to this lovely lady whom I’ve known for quite a few years.
After years of training and swimming all of the significant long distance events around the world, she managed this incredible feat September last year.
The planning, the narrow window of opportunity which is weather dependent, the wearing of no extra swim suits and and all the challenges of the logistics and travel were overcome. Fantastic!
It’s a incredible achievement and one that Townsville is proud of.
She is still the character and is continuing to set goals and achieve more milestones in the oncoming years.
